Spring @ Disney

I love Disney...especially during the springtime. The flowers are stunning and the weather is perfect. I tried narrowing my photos from my days at Disney last week down to just a few...it was difficult to say the least. Even so, there are a lot of pictures in today's post. Enjoy!

In honor...

I had the distinct pleasure of photographing a family of 26 over the weekend. Four generations all gathered together to celebrate the life and love of the family matriarch. Over the course of an hour and a half I watched the family members laugh, tease, and most of all, shower love upon one another. They were so easy to photograph as they are beautiful inside, and out. It is with sadness that I share that the beautiful mother/grandmother/great-grandmother passed away Monday morning. The beauty of her soul lives on within her family and this post is in honor of her:

The Wedding of Q & U

Today I photographed my first wedding. Yes, it was a group of 5 and 6 year olds. And yes, it was the acting out of a book. But, it was no less real. For whether we realize it or not, the letter "q" always needs to have the letter "u" by its side. How else would we have words like quick, quiet, quack, or queen? Yes, it is true that "u" doesn't always need "q"...but that is a story for another day. Today was a day to focus on the joining of "q" with "u". For ever, and for always.
