My Favorite Things

Have you ever stopped to really look at the things you use and/or enjoy everyday? I know I don't always stop to appreciate those things in life that I really enjoy. I challenged myself over the last week to photograph some of those things I love...some of my "favorite" things. One thing I love: butterflies...I love, love, love them! However, I couldn't find any to photograph so I looked back through my portfolio to find photos I love. And since my nephews live so far away (boo!) I had to choose a past photo of them as well. So here is a sampling of my "favorite" things in life:

Abby: Winter 2011 Photoshoot

I had a great time shooting Abby's pictures last week. Even though she wasn't feeling 100%, we decided to stick with our scheduled shoot. She did a great job and we had a lot of fun. Our location was the great outdoors...specifically the area around John's Lake in Clermont. I would schedule a session with Abby again anytime...she's super easy to work with and very photogenic. Thanks Abby!

Winter in Florida

During this time of year when the world can be so dark for so long I am thankful to still find beauty in the world around me. There will always be periods of cold, dreary weather but the sun will always come out again. The world truly is a beautiful place no matter the weather.
